PM Modi made a call and Eknath Shinde had to say that the next CM of Maharashtra will be from BJP. 

Eknath Shinde said, we told PM Modi and Amit Shah on phone that there is no hindrance from our side in forming the government. Whatever decision you take for the post of CM, we will accept it. We will fully support whoever is the face for the post of CM from the BJP high command. I am not sad, nor am I angry. I am going to fight. I am not going to cry. Eknath Shinde said in the press conference that I never considered myself the CM. I worked for the public every moment. PM Modi and Amit Shah always supported me. Modi-Shah have the power to fulfill the dreams of the people. He said that the next Chief Minister of Maharashtra will be from BJP only. We all are and will remain part of NDA. Whatever decision PM Modi takes is acceptable to Shiv Sena. Shinde further said that the Mahayuti is strong and we all are ready to work together. Shinde said that we got the love and trust of the people in the elections. For this I thank everyone wholeheartedly. We worked very well on the Ladli Behan scheme. I have always worked as an activist. I never considered myself a CM.  Chief Minister means a common man, I worked thinking this. We should work for the people. I have seen the pain of the people, how they ran their household.
